The short version: no account, no sign-up, and your photos are never stored. Screenshots you submit are processed to generate your results and then discarded. Your history lives on your device only.
Who we are
Wingtip is an AI texting and dating-profile coach. This policy explains what information the app handles and how. Questions: see Support.
What we do NOT collect
- No accounts, emails, names, or passwords. There is nothing to sign up for.
- No photo storage. Images you submit are transmitted for processing and are not saved by us.
- No contact lists, location, or browsing history.
- No advertising trackers, and no sale or sharing of personal information for advertising.
Photos and screenshots
When you request replies or a profile rating, the images you choose are resized on your device, sent over an encrypted connection to our server, and forwarded to our AI provider (OpenRouter, which routes to Google's Gemini models) solely to generate your result. We do not store, log, or reuse these images, and we do not use them to train models. The AI provider processes them transiently to service the request, subject to its own terms.
What we do process
- An anonymous device identifier, generated on your device. It links your subscription and daily usage counts. It is not your name, email, or Apple ID.
- Purchase status, handled by Apple and RevenueCat (our subscription processor), so the app knows you are subscribed. We never see your payment details.
- Usage analytics via PostHog: which screens are used and feature events (for example, "reply generated"). Analytics never include your photos, messages, or AI results.
- Daily usage counters (number of generations) tied to the anonymous identifier, to enforce fair-use limits.
Where your history lives
Your past sessions are saved only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them. We cannot see or recover them.
Data retention and deletion
Because there is no account, deleting the app removes your on-device data. Anonymous usage counters and analytics events expire on a rolling basis and cannot be tied back to you. To exercise privacy rights or ask anything, contact us via Support.
Age
Wingtip is not intended for children under 13. You must meet the minimum age of any messaging or dating service you use it with.

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and the date above.
